Good evening Coordinators & Secretaries,

I write to provide further information about the new Deputy Executive Secretary (DES).
Rev. Fr. Peter Audu Babangida is from Kaduna Province.

He has worked as JDPC Coordinator for over 9 years cumulatively, at the Diocesan, Provincial and National Offices. I’m sure most people will still remember his good works as JDPC Coordinator/Director.

It was during his tenure as Director at the National Office, that the birth of Caritas Nigeria was being conceived, however, during the birthing process, he had to go for another mission in his Diocese and in the United Kingdom as well. As assigned by the CBCN, he was Nigerian Chaplain of England & Wales for 6 years and also had a Pastoral placement in Southwark, England.

After over 10 years of the establishment of Caritas Nigeria, he joins us again as the Deputy Executive Secretary (DES).

As noted by the National Director, Fr. Babangida brings on board a wealth of experience and we are delighted to welcome him back home
