JDPC Abuja: Empowering Youth Through Skill Development
Abuja, Nigeria – In a recent gathering at the Pro-Cathedral Hall of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, JDPC Abuja celebrated the achievements of young people who have been trained and supported through the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) program. The event, held in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment and Youth Commission, showcased the positive impact of skill development on the lives of these ambitious individuals.
Over the past three years, JDPC Abuja has provided consistent training and funding to young people in a variety of fields, including catering service, fashion design, web and app development, graphic design, poultry and fish farming, video editing, and digital photography. The recent impact assessment meeting offered these young entrepreneurs a platform to reflect on their journeys and share their successes.
As the participants evaluated their progress, it became evident that the training they received has equipped them with the skills and confidence to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Their stories of resilience, innovation, and growth were inspiring and a testament to the power of education and support.
One of the most exciting aspects of the event was the opportunity for these young talents to scale up their businesses. JDPC Abuja is committed to providing the necessary resources and guidance to help these entrepreneurs reach their full potential. By supporting their growth, JDPC Abuja is not only contributing to the economic development of the community but also empowering young people to become self-sufficient and create a brighter future for themselves.
