The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Adamawa State has bestowed the title of Ambassador Nominee upon Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza, the Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese, in recognition of his commitment to the campaign against drug abuse.

This prestigious accolade was conferred following a comprehensive presentation on the ramifications of drug abuse and its derivatives by the state commander of NDLEA at the Diocesan Convention of Kungiyan Mawaka Yada Bishara, held at Saint Peter’s Seminary in Jimeta.

The award, presented by Commander of Narcotics Femi Samson, underscores Bishop Mamza’s pivotal role as a religious leader in shaping the moral fabric of children, both at the local and national levels.
His profound influence and standing within the community make him an exemplary candidate for championing the fight against drug abuse and illicit substances.
