The State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Abia State. Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Blessing Felix, received a visit from a delegation of Caritas Nigeria Abia State team today, led by Dr. Charles Okolie, who represented the organization Orphans and Vulnerable Children’s (OVC) program team in the state. The visit was to discuss cooperative strategies for the effective delivery of the OVC and gender services in the area.

The delegation recognized the Honourable Commissioner’s important contributions to tackling important issues pertaining to OVC, women’s welfare, and the reduction of poverty in the state. She expressed her gratitude for the visit and her commitment to increasing government support for the programs through dedicated involvement while acknowledging the need for better collaboration between the Abia State Government and Caritas Nigeria.

In our world, there are countless children who have faced adversity from a very young age. They are orphaned and vulnerable children, and they deserve our love, support, and protection. 💕

Every child deserves a loving and stable home. Education, healthcare, and nutrition are their rights, not privileges.
