Exciting Update from the ICS Project
We are thrilled to share the latest achievements of the Institutional Capacity Strengthening (ICS) Project, a five-year initiative funded by Catholic Relief Services and implemented by the Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria, along with local partners.
From June 11th to 21st, 2024, the team conducted vital resource mobilization training for the Dioceses of Wukari and Awgu in Taraba and Enugu States respectively. This training aimed to equip diocesan staff with the necessary skills to enhance local resource mobilization, develop compelling proposals, and build sustainable financial strategies.
Key training highlights included:
- Introduction to Resource Mobilization concepts
- Training on the three Ms of RM: manpower, material resources, and money
- Practical sessions on donor mapping, grant readiness, and innovative RM tools
- Development of tailored RM strategies for each diocese
Through interactive sessions, participants gained valuable insights and practical tools to strengthen their resource mobilization efforts. While this training marked a significant step forward, we recognize the need for continued capacity building and support to fully realize the project’s objectives.
We are committed to fostering a strong partnership with dioceses and other stakeholders to ensure the long-term success of the ICS project.
