Catholic Secretariat Receives Delegation From Dicastery For Promoting Integral Human Development
The Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria today received a delegation from the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, comprising of Mr. Mario Almeida of Africa Cordination Section and Pascale Debbane, the Regional Coordinator for the Middle East in the Listening and Dialogue office.
Rev. Fr. Michael Banjo, the Secretary-General of the Catholic Secretariat, in the company of the Unit Secretaries and other staff of the Department of Church and Society, warmly welcomed the august visitors and thanked them for the visit, highlighting the regular support received from the Vatican office.
The highpoint of the meeting was the presention of virtual and printed resource materials from both sides. The interractions that followed were as insightful as they were mutually reassuring, indicating the desire to continue to collaborate in the shared mission of working for integral human development.
The historical encounter concluded with a tour of the premises of the Secretariat, bustling and resplendent on the day with a high sense of ocassion.
